WASTE WATER PRETREATING TANK FOR COMBINED SEPTIC TANK AND MAINTENANCE UTENSIL FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE:To separate oil in waste water and to decompose oil and sludge entrained by the oil by providing a pretreating tank having an oil separation chamber and an oil decomposition chamber. CONSTITUTION:A vessel 1 having a freely detachable lid 1a on its upper opening is divided by a partition wall 2 into an oil separation chamber 3 and an oil decomposition chamber 4. The inlet 3a and outlet 3b for the waste water are provided to the lower part of the chamber 3, and the inlet 3a and outlet 3b are respectively communicated with the waste water source and joint septic tank through the risers 6 and 8 and the horizontal pipes 7 and 9 connected to the risers. Meanwhile, an outlet 4a is furnished at the lower part of the chamber 4, and a contact material 5 is packed therein. Consequently, the oil in the waste water is separated, the oil and the sludge entrained by the oil are decomposed, the load of the combined septic tank is reduced, and the treatment capacity is increased.
