PURPOSE:To obtain the title device preventing propagation of vibration of engine by installing a transmission shaft in the interior of a connecting lever having a front edge connected to a bearing supporting a disc reaping blade on a shaft and a rear edge coupled to an engine and bringing a vibration deadening material into contact with a pressing material between the front edge and the rear edge to mutually push the materials. CONSTITUTION:In a vibration deadening device of bush cutter, a transmission shaft 45 passing through the interior of a connecting lever 43 having a front edge connected to a bearing 37 rotatably supporting a disc reaping blade 35 on a shaft and a rear edge coupled to a clutch housing 41 of an engine 39 is installed and, between an inner diameter face of a cylindrical part 53 projecting to the front of the clutch housing 41 and the outer peripheral face of the connecting lever 43, a cylindrical vibration deadening material 55 having a slant face on either of the outer face and the inner face and a pressing material 65 having a slant face on the other face are set in a mutually contacting way in inclination and a pushing means 73 to make the vibration deadening material 55 and the pressing material 65 push each other is laid to prevent propagation of vibration of the engine 39 to a gripping part 51 attached to the connecting lever 43.
