JOINING SECTION CONSTRUCTION FOR COLUMN, AND JOINTING METAL FITTINGS FOR COLUMN

PURPOSE:To transmit a shearing force from a steel frame column, exactly to a concrete foundation, without relying on anchor bolts. CONSTITUTION:The column base of a steel frame column 1 is jointed to both of the flanges 1a, and anchor bolts 3 to be set into a concrete foundation 2, and is jointed to the concrete foundation 2 with rigidity via jointing metal fittings 4 with shear keys 4c set saliently along the flanges 1a of the steel frame column 1 on the side of the concrete foundation 2. By transmitting a shearing force as bearing pressure, to the concrete foundation 2 with the shear keys 4c, stress is transmitted smoothly and exactly without relying on the anchor bolts 3.
