PURPOSE: To measure a component in immunoreaction by an immunoassay theory by using a specific polyethylene oxide/polypropylene oxide block copolymer as a surfactant. CONSTITUTION: A surfactant is represented by formula (a is a numerical value of 40-150 and b is a numerical value is 10-50). A polyethylene oxide/ polypropylene oxide block copolymer is used to measure a component in immunoreaction by an immunoassay theory in which one of reactive components is present in a solid phase.
