BOARDING OF CEILING WITH SPACING, EMPLOYING SETTING HARDWARE TO BE DRIVEN FROM BELOW

PURPOSE:To make steadfast fixing possible by easy work by a method wherein the upper parts of grooves for battens for longitudinal rails of ceiling boards to be arranged with spaces left in between are cut off obliquely, and setting hardwares made up to agree with triangular spaces provided between the ceiling boards are fixed by nailing from below to the furring for fitting of the ceiling boards into the spaces. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of a groove 3 for a batten is cut off obliquely and ceiling boards are placed side by side with a distance corresponding to the width of a joint kept in between, and thereby a triangular space is formed with another space in a width corresponding to that of the joint formed thereon. A setting hardware 5 formed in a shape corresponding to the shape of the said space is prepared with a hole for nailing provided at its center. Then the setting hardware 5 is fixed with the nail to a furring 6 by pushing the same on to a longitudinal rail 1 of a first ceiling board which is fixed to a corner bead. The second ceiling board is pressed against the aslant part of the setting hardware as though the setting hardware is inserted into the side of the ceiling board, and the longitudinal rail on the opposite side is fixed with the setting hardware 5. By repeating such processes, boarding of the ceiling is finished. Thereby works for fixing the ceiling boards to the furring 6 and for fitting the battens to the grooves can be executed easily.
