THREE-D WETHER APPARATUS FOR SIMULATION OF DIGITAL-RADAR LANDMASS SIMULATION

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a three-dimensional weather simulation which includes operator-adjustable parameters of height, bottom, and precipitation. CONSTITUTION: A module is added to a digital radar land mass simulator(DRLMS). The DRLMS has artificial topography, altitude, aspect, and weather channels. The four channels are united so as to provide weather for the radar land mass simulation. When this invention is mounted, the topography and a target can be hidden entirely or partially behind the weather, and vice versa. A weather mass is simulated in three dimensions and has the bottom and height. The weather mass is not formed of a single geometrical body. A weather chart is loaded as a weather pattern in a system. The weather pattern can be enlarged, rotated, and translated. The weather channels are usable to simulate chaff and a radio wave disturbance pattern.
