CULTURE OF PUMPKIN IN SUSPENDED STATE AND SUSPENDING CULTURE APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To increase the yield and profit using a dense culture technique and obtain the subject pumpkin having improved quality by fruiting, growing, thinning and harvesting a pumpkin fruit in suspended state in a barrel-roofed house frame covered with a specific net. CONSTITUTION:A net 2 is spread on a house frame produced by parallelly planting arch-formed metallic pipes 1A. A pumpkin is fruited, grown and ripened in the house in suspended state and harvested by introducing a transporting tools and vehicles into the house frame. Preferably, the pipes 1A are parallelly planted with regular spaces, right and left side straight pipes 1B are perpendicularly attached to the pipe 1A in a state separated from the ground, three rows of intermediate straight pipes 1C are placed between the pipes 1B with regular spaces to construct a house frame 1 and both sides 2A of the net 2 placed on the frame 1 are fixed to the pipe 1B with a string 2B.
