EMERGENCY REMOTE RESCUE DEVICE FOR DETACHED HOUSE ELEVATOR

PURPOSE:To rescue passengers promptly by providing a means for receiving abnormal signal, storing an abnormal condition and transmitting its abnormality, a means for remote judgment and processing, a means for automatic remote rescue operation to be operated, and a means for automatic remote rescue operation operated by a service technician from the outdoors. CONSTITUTION:If any trouble arises, a control panel 3 will output an abnormal signal and monitoring and protection data to a remote rescue device 4. The remote rescue device 4 switches over the telephone line to an emergency communication side and transmits signals for production of abnormality and memory data to a service center 12. In the service center 12, they are analyzed automatically, processing method is judged, and the result is transmitted back to the remote rescue device 4. If it judges that an elevator can be operated at low speed to the nearest floor, a re-start command is transmitted from the service center 12 to the remote rescue device 4, and received by the control panel 3. Then the control panel 3 operates the elevator at low speed to the nearest floor and passengers are rescued. If it is judged that an elevator cannot be operated at low speed to the nearest floor, a service technician will arrive, check the remote rescue device 4, switch over it to the manual operation mode. Then a brake is operated by pulse signals to operate the elevator downward until it is stopped by a floor contact position detector switch 7, and the passengers are rescued.
