PURPOSE:To obtain a surface-treated Al (alloy) material having superior workability and superior corrosion resistance after coating by forming a multilayered plating film consisting of three or more plating layers including the lowest layer of Zn and the surface layer of a prescribed Fe-Zn allow on the surface of an Al (allow) base material. CONSTITUTION:A multilayered plating film consisting of three or more plating layers is formed on the surface of an Al (alloy) base material with Zn and Fe by substitution plating, chemical plating, electroplating or a combination of such methods. The lowest layer is a Zn layer and the surface layer is an Fe-Zn alloy layer having 40wt.% Zn content.
