PURPOSE:To synthesize and reproduce another musical instrument sound optionally by providing musical instrument sound generating means which output musical instrument signals of one or =2 musical instruments, and adjusting and outputting an optionally specified musical instrument sound signal corresponding to sound generation information and tempo information from a musical sound information storage medium. CONSTITUTION:A musical instrument sound generation part 18 is provided with the musical instrument sound generating means 20-1 - 20-n as means for generating various musical instrument sounds. Orchestral accompaniment signals 16a-1 to 16a-n from a musical sound information converting means 16 are input ted to a mixing amplifier 26 as a concert sound reproducing means and musical instrument sound signals from respective AND gates 22 are also inputted. A microphone 28 for inputting the song of a singer is connected to the mixing amplifier 26 and an output line is connected to a speaker 30. Consequently, such a pleasure as the addition of various rhythm sounds by optional operation is given to a player and not only the singer, but also surrounding users can have a better feeling of amusement.
