SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING SYNTAX ANALYSIS TABLE

PURPOSE:To automatically generate a syntax analysis table by storing the pattern of a normally expressed language specification after encoding the pattern and searching an encoded syntax pattern table for sorting. CONSTITUTION:An encoded normally expressed pattern is generated on an internal storing medium by inputting a normally expressed described content and encoding the content by using a token code. Then a two-syntax check table, two-syntax index table, double-syntax check table index table, and double- syntax check table are generated by searching normally expressed patterns on the basis of a basic token code. Then a syntax pattern table index table is generated by sorting the right end code of the normally expressed pattern into a key and a syntax pattern table, pattern length table, definition number table, and substitute token code table are generated. Therefore, various kinds of tables used for syntax analysis can be generated automatically.
