COMPOSITION FOR PRODUCING POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER OF EXCELLENT ORGANIC SOLVENT RESISTANCE AND ITS USE

PURPOSE:To provide a composition which can give a polyurethane elastomer of excellent organic solvent resistance by mixing a mixture of two specified polyesterpolyols with a polyisocyanate and a curing agent. CONSTITUTION:10-90wt.% polyesterpolyol comprising ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol and succinic acid is mixed with 90-10wt.% polyesterpolyol comprising neopentyl glycol, diethylene glycol and succinic acid. The obtained polyesterpolyol mixture is mixed with a polyisocyanate (e.g. 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate) and a curing agent (e.g. 1,4-butanediol or trimethylolpropane). A squeegee for screen printing excellent in organic solvent resistance can be produced by molding and curing the obtained composition.
