PURPOSE:To select the condition of starting a carrier according to the condition of stop after a stop command is canceled by storing the various stop commands of the automatic guided carrier, which can move forward and backward, and storing the advancing direction before the stop. CONSTITUTION:When a stop command 1 of A is inputted during traveling the automatic guided carrier and the truck stops, it is recognized by a stop condition selecting circuit 2 that the carrier is stopped by the A. With the stop command of A, unless any signal is outputted to an advancing direction select circuit 4 and the carrier is artificially started, the carrier is still stopped. It is recognized by a B stop condition select circuit 2 that the carrier is stopped by B, and based on the advancing direction before the stop stored in an advancing direction storage circuit 3, an advancing direction select circuit 4 selects the advancing direction in the case of the stop command of B. Thus, after the stop command is canceled by the stop condition, it is selected whether the carrier is automatically started or not, and the advancing direction can be switched as well.
