PURPOSE:To perform a safe operation by transmitting a predetermined current as data if the current is consumed in addition to an original current consumption of an electronic extension time detonator during loading of a predetermined voltage from a blaster to the detonator. CONSTITUTION:If a current consumed by a current consuming circuit 11 is Ip and a voltage to be applied to an inverting input terminal of a comparator 5 is Vb when a voltage Vp of a DC power source 2 of a blaster 1 is applied to an electronic extension time detonator 10, Vb-Vp-RSXIp is obtained, where the value of a load resistor 3 is R5. If a voltage to be applied to a noninverting input terminal C of the comparator 5 from a voltage divider 4 of the blaster 1 side is Vref and VrefVb is satisfied, an output S of the comparator 5 becomes a low level L. When a switch 13 is closed, a constant current IS flows through a constant-current consuming circuit 12, and the output S becomes a high level H. Accordingly, the output of the comparator 5 is compared, a signal from the detonator 10 can be transmitted to the blaster 1, and sensed to safely blast it.
