METHOD FOR UPDATING CORRECTION INFORMATION IN INFORMATION STORAGE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To minimize a waiting time for a command execution in the update process of the correction information by counting the time to execute the update process of the correction information in one specified information storage device among plural storage information devices. CONSTITUTION:In this system, when a specified count is completed, a control part 20 is informed, by a counter circuit 23 through a signal line 201, that the updating process of the correcting information is necessary. When the advising signal from the signal line 201 is detected at the control part 20, the interruption protocol sequence of an upper interface 3 is activated, and an interruption to a host computer system is generated. The updating process is read by the control part 20 and the updating process of the correction information is executed. When the updating process of the corresponding information is completed, an advice of completion is sent to the host computer system by the control part 20 through a status transmitter part 21c.
