DISCRIMINATING DEVICE FOR NECESSITY OF DRESSING

PURPOSE:To automatically decide the necessity for dressing and truing, by providing a fuzzy inference device which automatically decides by a fuzzy inference the necessity of at least one part in the truing and setting of a grinding wheel, based on the input value fed from a sensor. CONSTITUTION:The state of one part or the both of a grinding wheel 3 or the body 2 to be worked is detected by a sensor 8, during or after working. The necessity for the dressing or truing of the grinding wheel 3 is automatically found by a fuzzy inference device 7, from this detected state.
