PURPOSE: To provide an optical measuring device which can dispense with an expensive and sensitive holography element, and is capable of using a linear sensor at reasonable price in place of a flat sensor, and keeping the intensity of a laser beam incident on the eye as weak as possible, and less in defects. CONSTITUTION: An optical measuring device is provided with a light source 1, a scanner mirror 4, a polariscope 7, a sensor, and an evaluation device. A rotary mirror 4 is used as a scanner, a stationary flat polarization mirror 7 is provided in the course in which the rotating beam passes, and the beam is directed to a point on the surface of the cornea so as to be brought close to the most proximal point of the cornea as the distance of the polarization mirror 7 from the eye 9 is increased.
