MANUFACTURE OF LONG-SIZED TUBULAR PREFORM WITH SPRAY-DEPOSITING METHOD

PURPOSE:To prevent porosity in a tubular preform formed with a spray- depositing method. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing the tubular preform by slowly moving a tubular collector 1 horizontally disposed by penetrating into a chamber 2 to an axis direction while rotting it at low speed, by making a molten metal stream for preheating flow down to the collector 1 to form the metallic film, the collector 1 is preheated and thereafter, immediately, spray stream is deposited and the generation of porosity at the collector side is prevented.
