PURPOSE:To prevent hunting and to enable feeding of hot water of an appropriate temperature by a method wherein a target value is made lower than the maximum temperature and a heating means is subjected to a feedback control when a necessary capacity is lower than a prescribed capacity. CONSTITUTION:A control means 13 leads out a necessary capacity of a heating means 12, and when the necessary capacity is higher than a prescribed capacity in a low capacity range, it sets the target value of the temperature of hot water on the downstream side of a heat exchanger 3 at a prescribed maximum temperature and subjects the heating means 12 to a feedback control. When the necessary capacity is lower than the prescribed capacity, the target value of the temperature of the hot water on the downstream side of the heat exchanger 3 is made lower than the prescribed maximum temperature and the heating means 12 is subjected to the feedback control. When the necessary capacity is higher than the prescribed capacity or when the target value is made lower than the prescribed maximum temperature, in this way, a flow rate ratio between a water channel 5 and a hot water channel 1 of a mixing valve 4 does not become an extreme one. According to this constitution, no hunting occurs and supply of the hot water can be executed stably.
