PURPOSE:To smoothly search the solution of a steady state under the initial condition of a circuit, being a basis for progressing a transient analysis or an alternate analysis or the like, without operating a processing such as the change of input data or the like. CONSTITUTION:Each node of an electronic circuit is turned into a ground potential (S2), the potential of the pertinent node is gradually turned from the ground potential close to the potential under the initial condition (S3), and then the potential of the pertinent node is held to be the potential under the initial condition only in a prescribed time (S4). Thus, the transient state in the process of changing the potential is calculated, and the steady state in which the above mentioned node is the potential under the initial condition is calculated.
