MOLTEN METAL CONTINUOUS CASTING DEVICE, INDUCTION HEATING DEVICE AND CONTINUOUS CASTING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a continuous producing method of a metal cast product having uniform and stable quality and a casting apparatus having small heating space. CONSTITUTION: An induction heating system is applied to a continuous casting apparatus of molten metal having two endless flexible casting belts. These belts 10, 12 are disposed so as to face the front surface of the one belt to the front surface of the other belt, and one pair of dam blocks 18, 20 disposed at the end parts of these belts along these belts, form the casting region 22. The molten metal is supplied into this casting region to form a rectangular sheet of the casting metal. Before the belt enters the casting region 22, the belt is preheated with the induction heating heaters 24, 26. Through this preheating the continuously smooth casting can be obtd. and the product having uniform quality can be cast.
