摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent a HAZ (weld heat-affected zone) crack of a large amount of heat input welded joint by using a steel plate made of a continuous cast slab at the flange side and a steel plate made of an ingot made slab at the web side. CONSTITUTION:In performing large amount of heat input welding of a corner joint of a steel-frame box, post the steel plate made of the continuous cast slab is used as the steel plate at the flange side of the box post and the steel plate made of the ingot made slab is used as the steel plate at the web side. The HAZ crack of the high heat input welded joint of the steel-frame box post for a multistory building made by using thick high tension steel plate in the 50-60kg class can be thus prevented.
