PURPOSE:To improve the thermal efficiency of a kiln device by a method wherein high- temperature combustion gas is provided with low frequency sound wave to promote heat transfer between the high-temperature combustion gas and materials to be baked. CONSTITUTION:Materials to be baked 1 are sent into a rotary kiln 3 through a preheater 2 and are mixed therein, then, are sent into a clinker cooler 4 to cool them. High-temperature combustion gas, produced by a burner 5, transfers heat to the materials to be baked 1b and is discharged from the inlet port of the rotary kiln 3 into atmosphere through the preheater 2 and a chimney 9. The high-temperature combustion gas, which flows through the rotary kiln 3, is provided with low frequency sound wave, produced in a low frequency sound wave generator 10 and having the frequency of about 50Hz or less, whereby the high- temperature combustion gas transfers heat to the materials to be baked 1b to bake them while being oscillated. The high temperature combustion gas, which flows through the preheater 2 and waste heat exchangers 6, 15, is provided with the low frequency sound wave, generated in the low frequency sound wave generators 19, 22, 23 and having the frequency of about 50Hz or less, while the gas passes through the kiln while being oscillated whereby a heat transfer coefficient in an instrument is improved. The works to be baked 1c, transferred into the clinker cooler 4, are loaded on a clinker bed 24 and are cooled by cooling air. The cooling air is provided with the low frequency sound wave of about 50Hz or less by the low frequency sound wave generator 20 whereby the cooling capacity of it can be increased.
