摘要
PURPOSE:To mass-produce human hepatic parenchymal cell growth factor (HGF) by integrating an isolated chromosomic DNA containing a base sequence capable of coding the HGF and culturing a transformant transformed with the resultant recombinant expression vector. CONSTITUTION:A host cell is transformed with a recombinant expression vector capable of expressing a chromosomic DNA having a base sequence capable of coding human HGF. The resultant transformant is then cultured to collect a recombinant human HGF from the aforementioned culture. The chromosomic DNA capable of coding the human HGF can respectively be obtained from organs such as the human liver, kidney, spleen, lung, brain, bone marrow or placenta, blood cells such as a leukocyte, a megakaryocyte or a lymphocyte or established cells derived from humans such as HeLa cell. The recombinant human HGF produced in the culture supernatant of the transformant or the transformant can be separated and purified by combination of well-known methods for salting out, solvent precipitating, dialyzing, ultrafiltering, gel electrophoresis, etc.
