CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SYNCHRONIZING TERMINAL PRINTER OUTPUT AND COMMIT

PURPOSE:To synchronize commit and roll back of a data base file with output of a print record to a terminal printer device without paying a special attention by a user program. CONSTITUTION:When a commit instruction 2 is executed to a data base file 14, a terminal printer commit control means 9 settles the print record to a terminal printer device 17 held in a virtual destination file 15 to set a rest point of terminal printer output. When a roll back instruction 5 is executed to the data base file 14, a terminal printer roll back control means 11 invalidates output of the print record to the terminal printer device 17 after the just preceding rest point and returns output to the just preceding rest point.
