HYDROPONIC CULTURING DEVICE CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE IN ROOT REGION OF PLANT

PURPOSE:To improve growth, fleshiness and quality of fruit by simultaneously replying precise temperature requirement from crop physiology by making root region of plant temperature controllable with cold or warm water. CONSTITUTION:Non-water permeable films 4 are provided on a heat-insulting flat plate 8 inclined in a length direction and a path of cool or warm water is formed with the film. A cold or warm water mat is provided between said two sheets of film to make water to be absorbed into the cold or warm water mat and gradually flow. Furthermore, a water-retention sheet 2 and a root- protecting sheet 1 are provided on the mat, then plant is transplanted on a plant-holding plate. Using the equipment, temperature of a root part of a plant can be controlled by holding water in the baggy material for cold or warm water without continuously flowing nourishing solution from a conduit for nourishing solution.
