PURPOSE:To protect articles to be washed, by decreasing the possibility that part of the articles to be washed are projected to the outside of an inner drum through through-holes perforated on a cylindrical plate. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of through-holes 32 are perforated on the peripheral part of a front end plate 22 for an inner drum 2 and a rear end plate 23 therefor, which are formed on both sides of a cylindrical plate 21; the number of the through-holes required for the inner drum 2 is taken partial charge of the cylindrical plate 21, the front end plate 22 and the rear end plate 22; and thus the number of the through-holes 31 perforated on the cylindrical plate 21 is reduced.
