摘要

PURPOSE:To simply obtain the title compound in high yield, useful as a photographic coupler by a reaction between a mercapto-pyrazolo-triazole compound and halogen compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula IV can be obtained by a reaction between (A) a 7-mercapto-1H-pyrazolo[3,2-c]-1,2,4-triazole compound of formula I (R1 and R2 are each H or substituent) and (B) a halogen compound of formula R3X (R3 is alkyl, of formula II {B is Y, D-Y [Y is alkyl, aryl, etc.; D is O or NR4 (R4 is H, alkyl or aryl)], etc.; Z is O or S}, of formula III (D1 is e.g. H, alkyl, aryl, etc.; D2 is alkyl, aryl).
