摘要

PURPOSE:To suppress interlaminar separation owing to a high-temperature treatment by treating glass fiber with acidic and alkaline solutions containing a silane coupling agent and using a resultant base material of glass fiber as a reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:Said base material of glass fiber is formed by treating glass fiber treated with an acidic solution containing a silane coupling agent (e.g. vinyl trichlorosilane or gamma-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane) with alkaline solution. Said base material of glass fiber is impregnated with, e.g. an epoxy resin or polyester resin and semi-solidified by drying, then a resultant base material of glass fiber is impregnated with the resin (prepreg), thus said prepreg is made to a laminated material and said laminated material is subjected to press forming to afford the aimed laminated plate of glass fiber-reinforced resin.
