PURPOSE:To obtain a composite material without causing any recess, breakage and warpage in root parts of ribs by using a specific mixture as a filler in the root parts of the ribs in a carbonfiber reinforced carbon composite material. CONSTITUTION:A composite material structure obtained by using a mixture composed of carbon fiber paralleled in one direction, fine powder and resins as a filler in root parts of ribs in a carbon-fiber reinforced carbon composite material with erected ribs. The aforementioned fine powder is fine carbonaceous powder or ceramic fine powder having 10nm to 10mum particle diameter or a mixture thereof and added in an amount of preferably 30-65wt.% expressed in terms of the ratio in a host phase except the above-mentioned carbon fiber in the filler part after the carbonizing and burning. Fine carbonaceous powder such as carbon powder, graphite powder or carbon black, fine ceramic powder such as SiC or TiC having 10nm to 10mum particle diameter or a mixture thereof is especially preferred as the aforesaid fine powder.
