PURPOSE:To provide a food for preventing gastritis, gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer caused by Helicobacter pylori. CONSTITUTION:A gastritis, gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer-preventing food contains as an active ingredient an antibody specific to an antigen prepared from the egg of a chicken immunized with Helicobacter pylori as the antigen. When the gastritis, gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer-preventing food is eaten, the adhesion of the Helicobacter pylori to the membrane mucosas of a gaster and a duodenum is inhibited, thereby permitting to prevent the crisis of the gastritis or duodenal ulcer caused be the Helicobacter pylori to contribute to the maintenance of health.
