LINKAGE SYSTEM BETWEEN UPPER AND LOWER RANK PROCESSES

PURPOSE:To enable an upper rank process to easily use a lower rank inherent control, e.g. the MMI of a high level and also to reduce the communication value in response to the processing request given from a display in a linkage system between upper and lower rank processes. CONSTITUTION:An upper rank process 1 down-loads the information on a definer, etc., and a lower rank process 3 generated from the down-loaded information deals with the processing request inputted from a display 7. Then the lower rank inherent control 5 is carried out in the process 3. Other processing operations are reported to the process 1 via a circuit, and the process 3 receives these processing results and displays them on the display 7.
