MANUFACTURE OF WATERTIGHT GLASS RETAINING FRAME FOR USE WITH CURVED WINDOW AND CURVED WINDOW THEREOF

PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a curved window frame whose watertightness is high by fitting rubber packing into the hollow portion of a hollow rectangular metal mold, and then sticking a curved watertight glass retaining frame to a window frame main body. CONSTITUTION:Rubber packing 21 having a cross section almost corresponding to that of the hollow portion 20 of a hollow rectangular metal mold is fitted into the hollow portion 20 along the overall length of the hollow portion 20. The metal mold is then curved at its plane or front face with a required radius so as to manufacture a watertight glass retaining frame 16. The watertight glass retaining frame 16 is stuck to a window frame main body 10 by means of a screw 19 passed through and driven into the packing 21 in the hollow portion 20 so as to form a curved window frame.
