DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR CONVERSION CANDIDATE IN KANA/KANJI CONVERSION

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a converting operation by displaying conversion candidates of a character string or Japanese syllabary(KANA)/Chinese character(KANJI) inputted from an input means in a display device, and converting the KANA connected to this display device, and converting the KANA connected to this display means into the KANJI. CONSTITUTION:A display device 13, when data received from an input part 12 are the charac ter string executing a KANA/KANJI, conversion, transfers the character string to a KANA/ KANJI converting part 14, and receives the backward of the conversion for displaying in a display device 15 at the smallest from the KANA/KANJI converting part 14. And the character string of the leftmost conversion candidate is made an emphatic display such as a reverse and the like. Moreover, after the first display of the backward of the conversion, under the condition of executing the KANA/KANJI conversion, and when the data received from the input part 12 are control data such as a right arrow or a left arrow and so on, a reverse display on the character string of the backward of the conversion is changed. In case the reverse display is rightmost and right arrow control data are inputted, the leftmost conversion candidate is driven out, and the new character string of the backward of the conversion is added to the rightmost side, then displayed reversely. Thus, the conversion candidates are easily recognized.
