MGO-CAO-C-BASED BRICK

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title brick improved in oxidation resistance by incorporating a specified proportion of Ca-Si alloy etc. in a mixture of a specified proportion of carbon with MgO-CaO clinker alone or its mixture with magnesia clinker. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. of a blend comprising (A) 3-30wt.% of a carbonaceous material and (B) 70-97wt.% of (l) MgO-CaO clinker alone, containing =3wt.% of CaO or (2) its mixture with magnesia clinker is incorporated with (C) 0.5-7 pts.wt. of Ca-Si or Ca-Si-Mg alloy, thus obtaining the objective MgO-CaO-C- based brick.
