EXPERT SYSTEM FOR INFERENCE OF SOFTWARE BUG FACTOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To easily obtain the factor of a software bug and to decrease the inference unable cases by performing an inference again after the change of the adaptation conditions if a factor of the bug that is completely adaptive to the state information on occurrence of the bug is not obtained. CONSTITUTION:If an inference engine part 3 was not able to infer the factor of a bug which is adaptive to the state information on occurrence of the bug inputted through a man-machine processing part 2, an adaptation condition changing part 5 changes the adaptation conditions of a knowledge base part 3 based on the knowledge of a program constitution information part 6. Then the part 3 performs an inference again in order to obtain the bug factor adaptive to the state information on occurrence of the bug inputted through the part 2. Thus it is possible to extend the adaptation conditions and to infer the conclusion based on the program constitution information when the inference is impossible for the conclusion that is completely adaptive to the state information on occurrence of the bug. As a result, the factor of the hardware bug is easily obtained.
