COLOR MATCHING IN REPAIRING PAINTING AND COLOR MATCHING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To accurately and easily repair turbidity painting, by preparing a plurality of films different in thickness respectively corresponding to a color base film and a color clear film and allowing the color of the overlapped part thereof to coincide with that of a part to be repaired. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of color base films A1-A5 different in thickness corresponding to the color base film of a film to be repaired are provided on a separate transparent support 6 and, in the same way, a plurality of color clear films B1-B5 different in thickness corresponding to the color clear film of the film to be repaired are provided to the back surface of a separate transparent support 8. Then, both members 5, 7 are superposed to each other so as to bring the films A, B into contact with each other and the thickness of both films A, B when the color of the superposed part coincides with the color of the film of a part to be repaired is set to that of the color base film and color clear film of the film to be repaired and the respective films are formed to the part to be repaired in said thickness.
