PURPOSE:To prevent flying in the atmosphere, fusion-bonding or granulation in a shutter of a powdery body from happening by a method wherein a straightener/diffuser consisting of a grating plate with directional property which surrounds a sliding type plate shaped opening/closing valve is provided, and the outside is wrapped by a casing, and a gas to clean the plate shaped opening/closing valve is introduced from the outside of the casing, and an air inlet/outlet from which a gas to clean the plate shaped opening/closing valve is introduced from the casing outside, and guided to a space surrounded by the straightener/ diffuser, and discharged to the outside from a rear stream part in the rectification direction, is provided. CONSTITUTION:When filling is performed, pressurized air introduced from air introducing parts 8, 9 is always fed or fed when a screw auger 2 is stopped, and is evenly rectification- dispersed by straighteners/diffusers 5 consisting of grating plates with direction property, and jetted to the surface of a plate shaped opening/closing valve 4 in the fixed direction as shown by arrows. The jetted air gives impact to an article to be filled accumulated or the surface of the plate shaped opening/closing valve 4, and the article to be filled is discharged from a pressurized air outlet 10, being accompanied with the jetted air. By this method, the article to be filled in a shutter, i.e., the article to be filled accumulated on the surface of the plate shaped opening/closing valve 4 or rectification dispersing plates 5 is totally discharged to the outside of the shutter.
