PURPOSE:To suppress the fluctuation of a base line by eliminating the pressure drop of a carrier gas during introduction of a gaseous sample by the supply of a replenishing gas. CONSTITUTION:An inflow port 22 of the 1st check valve 15 is connected to a replenishing gas conduit 14 on the 2nd conduit 3 side and an outflow port 23 is connected to a replenishing gas conduit 14 on the 1st conduit 2 side. The pressure of the carrier gas flowing in the 2nd conduit 3 is set larger than the pressure of the carrier gas flowing in the 1st conduit 2 and is so set that the pressure difference therebetween is smaller than the working pressure of the 1st check valve 15 in an ordinary state. The 1st check valve 15 acts to supply the carrier gas in the 2nd conduit 3 as the replenishing gas to the 1st conduit 2 side when the pressure of the carrier gas in a sample drawing pipe 11 drops during the introduction of the gaseous sample. A storage tank 16 is provided in order to quickly eliminate the pressure change of the carrier gas in this stage.
