PURPOSE:To provide the cured matter having good light resistance and durabil ity and an excellent photochromic characteristic by curing a compsn. which contains a polymer contg. a spirooxazine compd. and a basic nitrogen-contg. compd. and a compd. or resin having an epoxy group. CONSTITUTION:This cured matter is formed by curing the compsn. which contains the polymer contg. the spirooxazine compd. and the basic nitrogen- contg. compd. as polymer components and the compd. or resin having the epoxy group. The spirooxazine compd. is a compd. which has spiro carbon and oxazine ring and contributes to the broadening of the absorption wavelength of color developing species, color mixing and the improvement in apparent durability. On the other hand, the basic nitrogen-contg. compd. incorporated into the polymer is effective in improving the light resistance, repetitive durability, etc., of the cured matter. The compd. or resin having the epoxy group may be compds. or resins which have =2 epoxy groups per molecule. The cured matter having the excellent photochromic characteristic and light resistance and the good hardness, adhesive property, water resistance, etc., is obtd.
