WATER INTAKE FACILITY FOR SAND PROJECTION DAM

摘要

PURPOSE:To take good-quality ground water simply even when river is buried by heavy rain by a method in which in constructing a dam, a water collecting tube with small holes is buried in the river bottom on the upstream side. CONSTITUTION:Many water-collecting holes are formed in a flexible resin tube and covered with a protective metal net to form a water-collecting tube 3 to prevent the intrusion of sand. In constructing a dam, a place where fresh clean water flows is selected, a sediment sludge layer 6 is removed by water jet, and the tube 3 is buried in rock and gravel layer 7. A protective wall 8 and a well cylinder 2 fixed strongly with the foundation 9 are provided on the upstream side of the dam 1, and one end of the tube 3 is opened in the cylinder 2. Drip holes 5 formed in the dam 1 are connected with the well 2 by connecting hoses 4 to take water into a water-receiving tank 10 provided outside. Ground water can thus be permanently taken even when the dam is buried in sand to supply it to users on the downstream without power.
