POLYESTER SPECIALITY BLENDED YARN HAVING UNEVEN FINENESS

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject yarn having a strong impact, having an excellent bulkiness and capable of producing a woven fabric having a strain tone excellent in visual appearance by blending doup ends having uneven fineness in the longitudinal direction with core yarns having a specified ratio of shrinkage in boiling water in a specified condition. CONSTITUTION:(A) Polyester filaments having uneven fineness with an average period of 50-200cm in the longitudinal direction and (B) other polyester filaments having =10% shrinkage ratio in boiling water are supplied to a turbulent flow zone in a condition of 0-30% overfeed (OF) ratio the filaments (A) and an (OF) ratio of the filaments (B) of =50% and higher than that of the filaments (A) and blended to obtain the objective blended yarn having uneven fineness with an average period of 30-150cm in the longitudinal direction and having =40 piece/m doups in which part of the doup ends has projections having 0.5-2.5 projection coefficient (height of projection/width of projection) and a height higher than 1/3 the yarn diameter in an amount of 5 pieces per 25mm yarn length.
