PRODUCTION OF ULTRA-LIGHT WEIGHT COATED PAPER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject coated paper having low basis weight, high opacity and low density by including urea-formaldehyde polymer particles in a coated base paper having low basis weight. CONSTITUTION:The objective coated paper having a basis weight of =50g/m2 can be produced by using a coated base paper having a basis weight of =38g/m2 and including preferably 0.5-10wt.% of urea-formaldehyde polymer particles (preferably having an average particle diameter of 0.05-0.5mum and an average diameter of the agglomerate of 3-10mum) in the base paper.
