PURPOSE:To perform the change-over to the system mode of CT with good accuracy by a simple operation, by performing the locking at the center position using a lock means on the basis of the center position detection signal from a position detection means and bringing a system to an operable state when the locking is finished. CONSTITUTION:When the change-over between an X-ray simulator mode and a CT mode is performed by a system mode change-over means 13, a control means 14 executes a change-over sequence and judges whether the CT mode is changed over to the X-ray simulator mode by the system mode change-over means 13 and transfers a system to the X-ray simulator mode to make it possible to operate the system as an X-ray simulator. When the mode is transferred to the CT mode, the control means 14 checks whether signals i1, i2, i3 are in an ON-state and allows the brakes of rotary shafts R1, R2 or roller R3 in an ON-state to function to apply locking. When all of the position detection signals i1, i2, i3 become an ON-state and a table 3 is locked at the center position in all of directions, the CT operation in the table operating part 12 for a CT system becomes possible.
