SAND DISCHARGER FOR AUTOMATIC FALLING DAM

PURPOSE:To easily remove sand and soil by a method in which a dam is set in a freely falling manner by providing a rotary shaft to its lower part close to the riverbed, a pit leading to the upstream and downstream of the dam is provided, a water-stop rubber and a stone protective fence are provided to the lower end of the dam. CONSTITUTION:A dam 9 is set in a freely falling manner by providing a rotary shaft 10 to its lower part close to the riverbed, and a pit 17 leading to the upstream and downstream of the lower riverbed 11 of the dam 9. A water-stop rubber 16 is provided to the upstream side of the lower end of the dam 9 in such a way that the water passage way made up of the pit 17 is closed when the dam 9 is raised, and a stone preventing protective fence 19 is provided on the upstream side of the dam 9. When the dam 9 is fallen down at an optional angle, water flows through the pit 17 to remove deposit sand on the right downstream side, and the dam 9 is fallen down. Sand and soil can thus be easily removed by water stream.
