PRODUCTION OF TISSUE CULTURE PRODUCT OF CUCURBITACEAE PLANT AND COSMETIC COMPOUNDED WITH EXTRACT OF SAID TISSUE CULTURE PRODUCE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic having excellent moisture-retaining property and beautifying effect to the skin, by inducing a callus having high proliferation rate by the tissue culture of a Cucurbitaceae plant and adding the extract of the culture product to a cosmetic base. CONSTITUTION:A Cucurbitaceae plant such as melon, luffa, etc., is subjected to tissue culture by conventional method to induce a callus having high rate of proliferation. The callus is extracted e.g. with a solvent by conventional method and the extract is added to a cosmetic base in an amount of 0.001 - 20.0wt%.
