PURPOSE:To make current consumption low at the normal time when ambient temperature is measured, by providing the second sensor part, which detects a wavelength from a human body, displaying the ambient temperature when the human body is separated, and keeping and displaying the temperature of the human body for a specified time when the human body is contacted. CONSTITUTION:MOS transistors 6, 3, and 4 are controlled by control signals phi1 and phi2. A ratio between the charge and discharge times by a variable resistor 2 and a capacitor 1 and the charge and the discharge times by a heat sensitive element 5 and the capacitor 1 is digitally processed by a converting table of an ROM17. The digital temperature is displayed on a display part 20. When a human body is contacted with a sensor 21, which can detects the human body based on infrared rays and the like, a timer 22 is set, a timer output 23 becomes a high level, and phi1 and phi2 are made to be a body-temperature measuring period (5-10Hz). When the sensor is separated from the human body, the output 23 becomes a low level, and phi1 and phi2 are made to an ambient temperature measuring period (1/5-1/10Hz). Thus low power consumption can be attained.
