PURPOSE:To finely monitor water service condition at every equipment in a residence by incorporating flow meters for outputting flow rate signals in a plural branching passages of a multiheader. CONSTITUTION:Flow meters 18 to 20 for outputting flow rate signals are respectively incorporated in the branching passages 15 to 17 of a multiheader 14. Each of the flow meters 18 to 20 measures the flow rate of water and outputs the flow rate signal. The flow rate signal from each of these flow meters represents flow rate at every individual water using equipment (for example, bath or toilet) connected to downstream portions of the branching passages of the multiheader 14. Thus, a multitype flow meter by which water service condition can be detected in a short time and which is low in cost and an alarm using it can be obtained.
