PURPOSE:To easily obtain a sintered body of calcium phosphate-based ceramics having superior dimensional accuracy by mixing calcium sec. phosphate with a specified amt. of calcium carbonate, an org. binder and a lubricant, injection- molding the mixture and bringing this molded body into a solid phase reaction at the time of dewaxing and sintering the molded body. CONSTITUTION:Calcium sec. phosphate is mixed with 0-50 pts.wt. calcium carbonate basing on 100 pts.wt. of the phosphate, an org. binder such as an ethylene- vinyl acetate copolymer and a lubricant such as N-lauroyl-L-lysine. The mixture is injection-molded and this molded body is dewaxed and sintered. At the time of this dewaxing and sintering, the molded body is brought into a solid phase reaction and a sintered body of calcium phosphate-based ceramics is obtd. A molding comprising hydroxyapatite, fluorinated apatite, etc., as main components and having a complex shape can be produced with high dimensional accuracy without causing cracking.
