PURPOSE:To enable stable torque measurement with little temperature drift by separating a temperature phase from a torque phase and detecting waves while wave detection timing is set to the temperature phase. CONSTITUTION:A measuring apparatus apparatus has a torque detection circuit 10 which detects waves while a phase of a bridge circuit output when only a torque is applied without changing temperature, that is a phase of the bridge circuit output when only the temperature is uniformly varied without torque applied with respect to the torque, namely a temperature phase is separated and wave detection timing is set to the temperature phase is separated from a torque phase by 50 deg. to approximately 130 deg., especially preferably, by approximately 70 deg. to approximately 130 deg.. Thus a temperature dependent amount can be consumed by wave detection, so that stable torque measurement with little temperature drift is possible.
